Notre Dame in Paris (2018)
ink on watercolor paper - original painting
29.5” x 43.5”
This was the first trip I travelled solo. I decided I wanted to go to Paris and paint. I would go to the store and get some bread, cheese and wine and sit on the bank of the Seine and paint. While I was painting this of Notre Dame I began to cry, thinking I couldn’t remember the last time I felt true joy until this moment. That was when I knew I needed to become an artist.
